Alexa Clay, CNM, has been working in the area of sexual and reproductive health and attending births for over 20 years. She became a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2014 after receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She is passionate about providing high quality midwifery care in a community healthcare setting. Besides being part of our amazing Midwifery team, Alexa is also part of the Transgender Health team. She is a lifelong learner of Spanish and hopes to one day be fluent. When she is not being a midwife, Alexa has way too many hobbies- she loves to cook, knit, weave, visit coffee shops and museums, and spend time outside in nature. She lives in South Nashville with her family.
